Our Work
Project Brief
#1
Rhuddlan Way, Kidderminster
My client was looking for a modern extension to their home that would de-clutter the ground floor layout and improve the flow of the kitchen, dining and lounge areas.
They also wanted to be able to open up the dining and lounge areas into the garden to make the most of the views over the Stour Valley.
We worked together to create a brief based on our client’s vision for their property to create a simple and crisp extension to the rear of the property and re-arranged the existing kitchen and dining layout to provide a large living space with views over the garden.
Project Brief
#2
2 New Dwellings
We were asked to look at a scheme that had already received planning permission with the aim of improving the layout and appearance.
The site itself is interesting as it used to be a public house with some storage areas built into caves within the sandstone bank that the pub was built against.
We have a very constrained site, so our design had to make the most of the space we have whilst blending in with the traditional style of the other dwellings in the village. The layout of both dwellings was altered to make the most of the site by opening the ground floor up and bringing the garden into the living space. We were also able to use the caves as amenity space for the dwellings, so were able to inject some interest and into the houses.
